Dr Jetsada Arnin

Assistant Professor Dr Jetsada Arnin, SFHEA, is the Assistant to the President for Education at Mahidol University, where he leads efforts to integrate AI into future education strategies, enhance teaching quality, and foster collaboration among faculties. He is based in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, and serves as Director of the Brain-Computer Interface Lab. Since 2014, he has taught courses such as Machine Learning for Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Signal Processing, and Medical Imaging. He obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biomedical engineering from Mahidol University and completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde in 2022.

During his PhD studies, Dr Arnin joined Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) as a research scholar, where he developed real-time signal-processing systems using hardware acceleration for neural applications. After completing his PhD, he furthered his research as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Strathclyde, specialising in algorithms for damage detection and 3D visualisation.

Dr Arnin’s expertise spans AI in education, brain-computer interfaces, digital signal processing, machine learning, IoT, cloud computing, and big data analytics. His research includes projects on brain-computer interfaces, wearable technology for physical activity detection, neural engineering, and preventive healthcare. He has collaborated with institutions such as the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) to promote healthier lifestyles in Thailand. His work in corporate communications, as Assistant Dean for Corporate Communications from 2023 to 2024, helped elevate the visibility and impact of the Faculty of Engineering’s research and educational programmes locally and internationally.

Ouh Eng Lieh is an Associate Professor (Education) at Singapore Management University’s School of Computing and Information Systems. He develops and teaches computing courses in software design and architecture, application development, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. He brings over a decade of practitioner experience in implementing large-scale computing solutions. His research interests include technology-enhanced education, generative AI in computing education, software engineering education, and industry-linked experiential learning.

Dr Tipajin Thaipisutikul

Assistant Professor Dr Tipajin Thaipisutikul is the Assistant to the President for Research and a Faculty Member at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Mahidol University.

In her administrative role, she plays a pivotal role in driving digital transformation, advancing research innovation, and integrating artificial intelligence into educational and institutional frameworks. An expert in data science and prompt engineering, she serves as a key knowledge provider and speaker, specialising in the deployment of Generative AI for academic advancement and workforce preparation. Most recently, she served as a key executive driver for the Mahidol x Harvard Health Systems Innovation Lab Hackathon 2026, a landmark collaborative initiative to build an international innovation pipeline and transform academic concepts into real-world healthcare solutions.

Dr Thaipisutikul’s expertise spans AI and prompt engineering, full-spectrum data science, deep learning architectures, and the practical application of AI tools for specialised tasks such as building effective pitching decks. Dedicated to bridging the gap between advanced technology and pedagogy, she designs and conducts highly sought-after training programs for educators, professionals, and entrepreneurs.

Professor. Sun Hua’s previous experience includes the Student Affairs Administrator in the School of Journalism and Communication of PKU for 10 years, the Deputy Director in the Office of Planning and Policy Research of PKU for 2 years, the Deputy Director in the Office of Education Administration of PKU for 5 years, and Executive Dean of Yuanpei College of Peking University for 5 years. He has developed his research in Higher Education Management and Cross-Cultural communication.

Miguel is a faculty member from the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Artificial Intelligence Program of the University of the Philippines Diliman. He is a member of the committee developing the University’s AI policy and is the faculty member in charge of the University’s Learning Management System as the director of the Interactive Learning Centre, Diliman. He is also an avid promoter of the proper and ethical use of AI in education at the University through various workshops and seminars.

Dr Nur Akmarina is the Director of Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre at Universiti Malaya.
