About the Seminar
This online seminar, led by Universiti Malaya (a co-lead of the AUN-TEPL Online Course Exchange initiative), is designed as a practical regional clinic focused on the effective operationalisation of credit transfer for standalone online courses across ASEAN. Moving beyond the “why,” the session will focus on the “how to do it properly across countries,” using a structured approach to facilitate a regional exchange.
The seminar will begin by outlining key policy considerations and introducing a three-pillar decision model (Equivalence, Validity, Trust). Participants will then be invited to share and compare their national and institutional best practices, policies, and challenges related to course recognition and ensuring the integrity of digital credentials. The goal is to move towards a shared, transparent, and evidence-based approach to mutual academic recognition across the AUN-TEPL network.
